Affection Belly Band
$1.10
A wedding belly band is the strip of card that wraps around the invitation, the RSVP and the details card and holds them together as one neat bundle. Guests open the envelope to a finished suite instead of loose pieces, and the band is where the couple's names or a short line of text usually sit.
Our invitation belly bands are cut to fit 13 x 18cm wedding invitations, arrive pre-folded, and wrap around the stationery to fasten at the back with a strip of double-sided tape (tape not included). The wrapped suite then fits inside our A7 envelopes.
Why add a belly band
Three practical reasons. It keeps a multi-card suite in order, so the invitation is read first and the RSVP is not lost. It gives the envelope a single, tidy weight instead of cards sliding about. And it adds a designed layer for very little cost, which is why belly bands appear on most of the stationery guests describe as beautiful.
Matching the band to the suite
Each belly band here belongs to a design range that runs across the whole wedding suite, from the save the date to the thank you card, so the band, the invitation and the enclosure cards read as one set. The text is easy to edit online, the band prints on your choice of thick cardstock, and our in-house designers check it before it prints. Order the same quantity as your invitations, plus a few spares for the sample you keep.
How to assemble
Stack the invitation on top, then the details card, then the RSVP and its envelope. Slide the band over the stack, pull it snug, and fix the overlap at the back. Do a handful first, check the spacing looks even, then work through the rest in a batch.
Start with the wedding invitations and RSVP cards the band will wrap, then complete the envelope with wedding envelope printing and liners and a wax seal.
