What size is a 5x7 invitation?

130 x 180mm once trimmed, which is the 5 x 7 inch card most invitation designs are made for. This Print My Design product prints at that size and is matched to our A7 envelopes, which can be added on the accessories page together with envelope seals. Artwork is supplied at 136 x 186mm so the 3mm bleed on each side trims away cleanly.

Can I print a 5x7 invitation from a PDF?

Yes. There is an upload box for the front and another for the back, so a double-sided invitation, details on the front and a map or RSVP information behind, prints as one card. JPG and PNG files at 300dpi upload straight into the editor; a print-ready .pdf, .ai or .eps file can be emailed once the order is placed with blank artwork, quoting the order number. It is the simplest way to print 5x7 invitations from a Canva design or a file bought from a template shop, and printing custom cards for a party, a business or a menu works exactly the same way.

Choose a cardstock at checkout: premium silk is the standard, with linen, cotton and shimmer also available, and a sample pack can be ordered to compare them in the hand.
